Luck Greayer has shipped horses to and from destinations as diverse as Mauritius, Bermuda and Peru. This is in addition to the more mainstream and regular destinations such as New York, Los Angeles, Miami in the USA and Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Riyadh and Bahrain in the Middle East. In addition, we regularly fly horses to and from South Africa and South America.
We were also delighted and privileged to be asked by our Middle Eastern agents to handle export and the re-import of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment to travel to Oman and return in 2010 / 2011 by invitation of the Royal Cavalry of Oman.
In 2012, LG were appointed as agents for Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant at Windsor Castle. This involved the export, re-export, venue and ground logistics for over 600 horses from around the Globe. This was a huge undertaking that involved all aspects of both horse transport but also logistics, stabling and venue management.
In 2015, LG have been jointly appointed by the Qatar Foundation with their Qatar partners, Gulf Warehousing Company, to handle all logistics for the prestigious CHI Al Shaqab. This involves the export and re-import of 135 of the World’s top Showjumpers, Dressage and Vaulting horses on three separate flights and over 25 tonnes of equipment.

• all DEFRA export paperwork and liaison with vets;
• tack for shipment including leather headcollars, brass nameplates, rugs, boots and tack bags;
• road transport to airport of export;
• customs clearance import and export, VAT reclaims if required;
• professional grooms on every flight;
• all Weatherbys / Jockey Club registrations both for export and import;
• airfreight on airlines utilizing only the most direct available route;
• passenger tickets and group bookings on airlines;
• airfreight of tack and equipment.
